Day 11 * Wednesday 1 April 2020

I think days seem to revolve around food, as it is nice to take the time to prepare and enjoy food. So far strangely I have lost 1.5kg rather than putting it on! Maybe it's not going to cafes at the weekends for brunch...and the lattes.  This morning after delicious tomato on Burgen (thanks Kelly) some puzzle time and newspapers, and work emails. Then onto morning tea of home made Hot Cross Bun with sachet latte (not quite as good as Streetwise but close - thanks again to Kelly who a couple of months ago gave me a milk frother) it was close to lunchtime (left over mash with poached egg). Robert worked most of the day on phone calls, with a late afternoon bike ride to stay fit. I walked over to see neighbours and old friends Joy and Kerry, chatting from a distance through their ranch slider - it made their day and mine!  This afternoon we had a visit from Scott Kelly and the kids, them on the lawn, us sitting way back by our lounge door. So nice to see them, Brooklyn riding up and down on the drive, Ava chatting away, Lucy wriggling in her Dad's arms.  Grandad had printed off a Lockdown Diary Kel had found - 30 pages of activities (that will keep them busy). Handed over by dropping on the ground, keeping a safe distance. A conference call for me this afternoon went without a hitch, good to have some normality and keep a semblance of work going.  Lovely end to the day was FaceTime with Oscar and his parents.
