Day 16 * Monday 6 April 2020
I had a thought just now that perhaps no-one is reading this blog...ahh well it will be good for me to look back on once we 'get out'. Thinking I may even get it made into a photo book. A copy for me and one for the grandkids - who I did it for to begin with. Most of the day spent on and off Zoom meetings (three in total). A great way to 'see people'. In the afternoon all the teaching staff at school came together on Zoom, we enjoyed a laugh or two then on to the business of being ready next Monday for the start of the term. Each Team had already put together some online learning and packs were delivered the day of the lockdown to 25 families who don't have internet access. With school starting back Monday planning and setting up learning is top priority. We are facing unprecedented times so need to think creatively and flexibly. Nice to see everyone's faces on the screen! I made the Chelsea Winter Isolation Loaf with cheese, red onion and bacon on top - delicious as it looks! Another 1km bike ride around the block, Robert went much further and more seriously I must say! Another Zoom meeting after dinner, and before you know it it's bedtime. A little puzzle time and colouring-in done during the day otherwise much the same, oh except the Queen came on the telly to address the Commonwealth (fifth time ever in her lifetime).
